Join the ranks of SATS, the Nordics’ biggest chain of fitness clubs, dedicated to making people healthier and happier through physical activity and wellness. We are seeking a talented Full Stack Developer to join our team at our office in Nydalen, Oslo.

As a key member of our digital department, you will design, build, and maintain our member-facing digital services across frontend and backend. Our member app is used by up to 150,000 members every day and more than 500,000 members across four countries every month. You will have the opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of our current and future members.

What you’ll do

• Design and develop new features across the stack, from user experiences to backend services

• Work closely with product, design, and other developers to turn ideas into high-quality functionality

• Build and maintain solutions that scale well and perform under high traffic

• Improve reliability and quality through testing, monitoring, and continuous refinement

• Contribute to technical decisions, architecture discussions, and better ways of working

• Take ownership of production systems, including maintenance and troubleshooting

Tech we use

Our products span several platforms and technologies. You don’t need to be an expert in everything, but you should be comfortable working across the stack and collaborating with specialists.

• Cloud and infrastructure: Azure

• Mobile apps: Native Kotlin (Android) and Swift (iOS)

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in either backend or frontend development, or both, and a passion for building products that motivate users to stay active and build healthy habits. You should be comfortable turning product ideas into reliable, scalable features, and have a solid understanding of what it takes to build maintainable systems.

On the frontend, you enjoy building clean and intuitive interfaces with modern tools and frameworks. On the backend, you’re confident building services that are secure, stable, and easy to evolve. Familiarity with Azure, deployment practices, distributed systems, or microservices is a plus.

The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills, communicates clearly, and thrives in a collaborative environment. More importantly, however, is that you identify with our vision, to make the Nordics healthier and happier, and that you are motivated by using your tech skillset to work towards that vision.

With a team of around 30 developers, including backend developers, web developers, data scientists, and mobile developers, SATS’ digital department is a dynamic and supportive working environment. You will work closely with other developers and our other departments to ensure that what we build supports SATS’ vision and helps members reach their goals.
